Overview
In recent years, the demolition and renovation of buildings and various facilities constructed during Japan's period of rapid economic growth have been increasing due to aging infrastructure. Many building materials used during this period contained asbestos, and accidental inhalation of asbestos fibers can cause various diseases, including lung-related illnesses.
The removal, disposal, and management of asbestos are subject to regulations under various laws and ordinances, including the Ordinance on Prevention of Health Impairment due to Asbestos.
We provide not only asbestos investigation and analysis services but also asbestos removal and encapsulation work. Please feel free to contact us.
Applicable Situations
Construction Process (After Your Request)
- Step 1
- Meeting with Relevant Parties Before Removal Work
Before starting construction, we hold detailed discussions with the customer. During this meeting, we confirm details such as the scale, overview, schedule, safety measures, and progress targets of the work, and then proceed with preparing the construction schedule and construction plan.
- Step 2
- Preparation and Submission of Construction Plan to Regulatory Authorities
We prepare the construction plan, submit and explain it to the relevant regulatory authorities, and obtain approval. We ensure thorough handling of all required notifications and procedures.
- Step 3
- Delivery of Equipment and Materials Used for Asbestos Removal Work
Before starting work, the following main items are brought into the site.
① Protective sheets ② Negative pressure dust collector ③ Air shower ④ Airless sprayer
- Step 4
- Sealing of Work Area
The first task in asbestos removal work is sealing and containment of the work area. This involves isolating and sealing the work area with protective sheets and maintaining negative pressure inside the work area to prevent asbestos from dispersing outside during removal operations.
※Containment work is performed while wearing half-face respirators.
- Step 5
- Installation of Security Zone
A security zone is installed to thoroughly remove asbestos dust attached to protective equipment. Workers enter and exit the work area through this security zone (from right: changing room, cleaning room, and anteroom).
- Step 6
- Asbestos Removal Work
The actual work is performed according to the following procedures.
① Application of dust suppression chemicals ② Asbestos removal ③ Bagging and storage of asbestos ④ Loading and transportation of asbestos
- Step 7
- Environmental Air Monitoring Around the Work Area During Asbestos Removal
During asbestos removal work, environmental air measurements are conducted at the site boundary and in front of the security zone entrance to confirm the safety of the surrounding air environment.
※Measurements are generally conducted at the following stages:
① Before work begins ② During work ③ After work completion
