Overview

"THE REBORN LIGHT (Autonomous Solar Street Light)" is an environmentally friendly autonomous solar street light made from used EV (electric vehicle) batteries and recycled steel. Since it does not require power plants or electrical wiring, it continues to function as a street light without turning off even during disasters or power outages.

MIRAI-LABO Co., Ltd., the manufacturer and distributor of this product, has developed and sold mass-production models after installing the product in Namie Town, Fukushima Prefecture. Three units are also installed at our Technical Center (Hachioji City).

・Environmental Consideration: An autonomous solar street light that stores energy generated from sunlight
　The storage battery reuses used batteries from EVs (electric vehicles)
　The main body uses recycled steel
　CO2 emissions (10 years): 0 kg (Mercury street lights: 3,696 kg-CO2 ※CO2 amount equivalent to approximately 264 cedar trees absorbing CO2 in one year)

・Installation Location: No electrical construction or power supply (wiring) is required

・Design: The distinctive S-shaped design combines efficient absorption of natural energy with durability against natural disasters
