Golf Course Pesticide Investigation and Analysis
Guideline values have been established to protect human health by preventing water pollution and damage to aquatic ecosystems caused by pesticides used on golf courses.
We provide investigation and analysis services to determine pesticide concentrations in water discharged from golf courses.

Analytical Targets
Insecticides: Diazinon, Thiodicarb, Trichlorfon, Permethrin, Bensultap
Fungicides: Iprodione, Iminoctadine Triacetate and Iminoctadine Tris(Albesilate), Cyproconazole, Thiuram (Thiram), Thiophanate-methyl, Trichlorfon-methyl, Validamycin, Hydroxyisoxazole (Hymexazol), Benomyl
Herbicides: Cyclosulfamuron, Simazine, Triclopyr, Napropamide, Flazasulfuron, MCPA Isopropylamine Salt and MCPPA Sodium Salt

Pesticides Regulated by Environmental Quality Standards
Environmental quality standards and effluent standards are established for public water bodies (coastal waters, rivers, lakes, etc.) under the Water Pollution Control Act, the Lake Water Quality Conservation Act, and related regulations.
We provide comprehensive services from survey planning and field investigations to laboratory analysis and data interpretation, delivering reports based on a thorough understanding of the characteristics of the surveyed water bodies.
We analyze pesticides included in environmental quality standards and effluent standards.

Herbicides: Simazine, Thiobencarb
Insecticides: Organophosphorus pesticides

POPs Pesticides
The Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs), addressing chemicals with high environmental persistence, was adopted and entered into force in May 2004.
The Convention prohibits or restricts the manufacture, use, and import of substances containing POPs, including obsolete pesticides.
We investigate and analyze groundwater and river water around sites where these pesticides were historically used.

Investigation and Analysis Process (After Your Request)

Step 1
Proposal of Analytical Targets and Site Inspection

The required sample volume and analytical method depend on the target pesticide.
Please let us know which pesticides you would like to analyze or which pesticides have been used.
If necessary, we will conduct a site inspection and prepare a sampling schedule.

Step 2
Investigation and Analysis

Our experienced field technicians collect representative samples using appropriate sampling methods.
The samples are then transported to our laboratory for analysis.

○The required volume of water samples varies depending on the number of target analytes. Please contact us for details.
○Water samples should be collected using dedicated containers cleaned by our laboratory. The sampling container, sampling location, and sampling time may affect analytical accuracy. If you plan to collect samples yourself, please consult us in advance. Sampling by our field technicians is also available.
