Overview
In principle, the BID can detect all gaseous components except helium (He) and neon (Ne), enabling the detection of compounds that cannot be measured with the widely used FID. It also provides higher sensitivity than both FID and TCD.
TCD is commonly used for compositional analysis of inorganic gases. Our GC-TCD system is configured to separate and quantitatively analyze oxygen and argon.

Features
BID (Barrier Discharge Ionization Detector)
Capable of detecting all gaseous components except helium (He) and neon (Ne).
Enables highly sensitive quantitative analysis of trace gaseous components using a small sample volume (for example, CO₂ can be measured at the ppm level).
TCD (Thermal Conductivity Detector)
Our GC-TCD uses a capillary column configuration combined with a PLOT column, allowing the separation and quantitative analysis of oxygen and argon.
Capable of analyzing underground gases and combustible gases at percentage (%) concentration levels.
