Service Overview

We conduct crop cultivation trials under actual field conditions to evaluate the performance of agricultural and landscaping materials. By having your products, such as fertilizers, soil conditioners, and pesticides, tested and evaluated by our independent third-party organization, you can obtain reliable data for marketing purposes as well as for official registration applications.

We can conduct cultivation trials on a wide variety of crops, including staple crops (such as rice and legumes), horticultural crops (including vegetables, fruit trees, and flowers), and forage crops.

Trial scales can be tailored to the stage of product development and intended application, ranging from cell trays and pots to full-scale field trials.
We also provide analytical and data analysis services associated with cultivation trials, including soil analysis, crop analysis, microbial analysis, and statistical analysis (such as significance testing and multivariate analysis), enabling comprehensive product evaluation from multiple perspectives.

We can assist you from the planning stage of your testing program. Please feel free to contact us for further information.

Key Considerations for Field Trials and Our Unique Solutions

Field trials are typically conducted during the final stages of product development and can be regarded as pilot-scale evaluations under actual use conditions. As a result, product performance may sometimes be influenced or masked by factors such as weather conditions or the occurrence of pests and diseases. Consequently, trial results may vary depending on the year or location in which the trials are conducted.

To provide objective evaluations under these conditions, we offer statistical approaches for interpreting trial results, including significance testing, effect size analysis, and meta-analysis. In addition to conducting field trials, we analyze the accumulated trial data to help answer important questions such as "Was the product truly effective?" and "Under what conditions does the product perform best?"

Features

Flexible Services as an Independent Testing Laboratory

We operate our own approximately 1-hectare experimental farm in Chikusei City, Ibaraki Prefecture, enabling us to provide flexible test planning and scheduling tailored to our customers' needs. Farm visits are also available upon request. Please feel free to contact us.

Objective Evaluations by an Independent Testing Laboratory

As we are not affiliated with any manufacturers of pesticides, fertilizers, or other agricultural products, we are able to provide objective and impartial test results.

Comprehensive Services for Cultivation Trials, Analysis, and Data Evaluation

We offer a complete range of services, from cultivation trials and yield surveys to chemical analysis and statistical analysis, all through a single point of contact.

Technical Partnership with an Agricultural College

Through our partnership with Koibuchi College of Agriculture and Nutrition, we provide comprehensive solutions that extend beyond testing services by leveraging expertise in crop cultivation, analytical science, marketing, and agricultural management.
