Overview
We provide contract testing services including phytotoxicity tests based on the Fertilizer Control Act and seedling growth tests to evaluate compost maturity using controlled indoor test systems. In addition to standard phytotoxicity tests, we can also add additional analytical parameters or test sections to observe effects on nematodes, enabling customers to obtain data for promotional purposes.

Applications
Whether a phytotoxicity test is required for fertilizer-related tests is specified in the official standards for ordinary fertilizers established under the Fertilizer Control Act . Customers registering fertilizers for the first time should first contact the relevant government office to confirm whether a phytotoxicity test is required.
Cases where phytotoxicity tests are conducted outside the scope of the Fertilizer Control Act include situations such as responding to customer complaints after product sales and demonstrating the safety of in-house fertilizers.
Similarly, seedling growth tests evaluate plant growth at an even earlier stage than phytotoxicity tests. They are generally used to evaluate compost maturity, but they can also identify whether fertilizers contain substances that inhibit germination or early plant growth.
